I thank God that I was able to witness such a blessed event. How wonderful, how awesome! Such a great blessing to come together on one accord and worship God in spirit and in truth. I was a participant in this Sunday's event at the Cintas center. I originally came to see I could in some small way help. However I myself was blessed beyond what I have still to digest. The unity that I experienced among fellow pastors, the love that was expressed in word and deed deeply touched me. The start of new friendships have begun, and a sense that God is really working on our behalf was evident in the Cintas center today. May God Richly bless you and keep you, and you continue to do His will. When their are other events or meetings, please keep me informed. I would like to participate in more fully. We came because this is what we believe in; this is what we have prayed for. Walls coming down! The event started out on a good note, with a trust in the direction of the Holy Spirit. As the event progressed, this was lost to a commitment to format and man's agenda. It was such a beautiful day and it is a shame we could not have all been at an outside venue (that did not cost $40,000). Having God's global view, there must be better ways to spend His money. We were disappointed in the worldly caricature of satan, as it does not line up with the Word of the Lord. There is always danger when we paint the wrong picture. Sadly, we heard from only two women, and so briefly, and in this season the Word of God is pouring forth through so many women. Where were they? Press on and keep seeking His direction. - A.F.
I truly believe this event has changed my life. When we first walked into the Cintas Arena, we were tempted to take a seat up high in the back center. However, something inside told me this was not the place to sit. I looked at my daughter and said. Let’s go down there where the action is!, pointing to the seats down on the floor. We ended up sitting about sixteen rows back in a diverse group of people, including a group of Christian bikers. These guys were great! One guy was just going through the crowd shaking hands with everyone. We talked a bit about the issue of unity in the Church and he gave me a booklet. Perhaps this is why my well-intentioned letter-writing campaign to the Churches of Middletown last spring yielded so little. More prayer is needed. It was indeed a great experience; a truly powerful experience. I was greatly moved as the crowd did not appear to be segregated. I was overwhelmed. It was great when a guy every bit of 6’8 and 300lbs comes along and picks you up hugging you in the love of the Lord. It was awesome to see individuals worshipping in truth and more love than I have ever seen in a corporate setting. - G.N.
I believe that the gathering of churches at the Cintas Center last Sunday was a significant step forward for Transformation Cincinnati. There was a wonderful unity of the various churches in our area. The was an anointing on the music and in the service. I thought that the way the Pastors shared the Word together demonstrated the unity that is coming about with the various churches and with the diversification of races in our city.
